Lady BASS Angler

Georgia Peaches Bass Club

Welcome to our Fishing Twins Web site. We’re just a couple of ladies that love fishing and meeting people. Well actually, we’re sisters. OK, so we’re twins. Teri looks like Keri and Keri looks like Teri. And we both love to fish. As far as which one of us loves fishing the most, it would be a toss-up. And yes, we are very competitive when fishing against each other, but we always help each other out when needed. We’re each others best friend.

We hope you’ll find our site interesting and informative. Don’t be afraid to send us any suggestions or some fascinating tidbits to post, as we'll be making continual improvements. Enjoy our site and visit us often.

Teri Wins Club Champioship Two Years in a Row

Teri has won the Georgia Peaches Bass Club Championship title again. She took the lead after the second tournament and was uncatchable rest of the season, with three third place, one second place, and two first place finishes.

Keri started out the season slow but came back strong in the end finishing in second place, but never getting closer than within 10 pounds of catching Teri. Sounds a bit like deja vu.

Good job Teri!

Keri Cashes in on Big Fish Pot

This year Georgia Peaches Bass Club had a progressive big fish pot worth $39 per month. A club member had to weigh in a 3.5 pound Spot or a 5 pound Largemouth to win the pot. If no one weighed in a large enough fish, the pot rolled over to the next month. Well, the pot was not claimed by the December tournament, so the largest fish of the tournament won the pot, valued at $390.

The tournament was held on Lake Jackon. Keri's day started slow with only a few bites that she couldn't hook up. It wasn't until 1:00 p.m. that she caught the only fish she would land that day, but it was the only fish she needed. It weighed in at 3.17 pounds and won her the pot.

Getting Lined Up for the 2009 Season

Spring is just around the corner and Teri and Keri are beginning to prepare for another season .

Keri has her sponsorship and events lined up and Teri is looking into creative ways to compete in as many events as possible.

WBT is using the same format as 2008, with four qualifying events and a Championship event. The Angler of the Year qualifies to compete in the Bassmaster Classic.

our appreciation

Thank You Sponsors!

Another season is behind us and we are thankful for so many things. The safe trips to and from our tournament destinations, the many new and old friends we spent time with, and the opporrtunity to be together doing something we both love.

But the most thankfulness goes to our sponsors, who supported us throughout the season. Each one played an important part in helping us to grow.

ZOOM Baits has been our favorite plastic since we started fishing with it in 1990. They are still my "go to" bait and helped me win the WBT Co-angler National Championship this year.

Tru-tungsten has the most innovative products. Their worm weights were instrumental in helping me win the Championship. They are continually expanding their product offering and have some awesome swimbaits.

The people at Hammond's Fishing, located near Lake Lanier, are wonderful and they have an incredible inventory.

And my personal sponsor, AutomationDirect, made it possible for me to pursue my dream. I couldn't do it without them.

Thank you all, we really appreciate you.

Best Wishes,

Keri
